Does anyone have gardening kits to lend? We are going to gather people to raise no-dig gardens on a small passage from Stoneleigh Road to Holcombe Road. that is close to Bruce Grove station, Haringey. Supported by local council and vInspired, we plan to transform this messy place by tidying up and greening it. But we lack of gardening tools and experience for building raised beds. Could anyone give us a hand?

I tried ecomodo because I need a Dremel to finish my basement. I found a guy in SE5 that said he'd lend it for free as long as I gave him an 80 pound deposit.
Does anyone else have a Dremel?

I planted an orchard with Russell yesterday. He says the only wood chipper he knows of is owned by the council - they're big, expensive pieces of kit apparently. He suggested using the branches to make a habitat for small mammals, birds and insects (if you have the space). Or alternatively there's the Brown Bin service although doubtless it's at risk at the moment:

I'll have a word with Russell from the Tree Musketeers to see if he has one you can use.

And on that note...does anyone have, or know of someone who has, a wood-chipper for chipping branches pruned off trees? We need one of these abotu 3 times a year when we prune, but don't want to buy a whole one for ourselves. We're in E5 area.

I heard the other day that the average domestic power drill is used for only 12 minutes in its entire life. Now there's a reason to get tool-sharing!

Fruit pickers needed! Does anyone have or could anyone knock up a few of these:

Seems like it should be a pretty easy device to make out of salvaged materials...
A good project for a social? :)
