Hi, is anyone interested in a clothes mending social afternoon/evening? I'm sure, like me, there are lots of people with a pile of clothes which they never get around to fixing because it's boring sitting on your own sewing on buttons. I think a group of us drinking tea and chatting whilst we sew could have much more fun! I'm happy to let people use my sewing machine. I'm no expert but I can help with basic alterations or thinking up ideas if you have something you want to customise. I also have a big box of buttons if you've lost one and you don't mind looking artfully mismatched!
